Log-house building at Sunnivue
September 15, 2009
Dear Friends of Sunnivue Farm, A new and different enterprise is underway at Sunnivue, and those of you who are out at the farm store on Saturdays are invited to pay a visit to it. Mark Williams, a log house-builder and a long-time friend of the farm, has located his work-site at the farm and is building a log house. When it is complete it will be moved to its permanent location in the London area. It is exciting and interesting to have on the farm a project that is so much in keeping with our own aims, and that enriches the experience that Sunnivue offers. Mark is often at work on Saturdays and welcomes visitors to the building site. If you would like to have a look, please ask for directions at the farm store. Meanwhile, the selection of produce, meats, and other items in the store remains extraordinary. Fingerling potatoes, a great delicacy, have now been harvested, WASHED, and added to the array of spuds. I hope to see you there. Best wishes, Sally (for Sunnivue)
